What is TREIA?
The Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA) is a statewide nonprofit organization of companies, organizations and individuals involved or interested in solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and hydroelectric energy development, products, and/or related services. Since 1984, they have been a fierce advocate for:
• clean energy,
• energy security,
• energy independence, and
• Texas jobs.
The Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association is a referral service for individuals, companies and agencies seeking access to renewable energy expertise and technology.
This association is an organizer and facilitator of conferences, trade shows, workshops, seminars, and tours to expose our members and the public to the latest and most useful renewable energy information.
TREIA is a publisher of a Website, newsletters, and other documents that track the progress of renewable energy development and report industry activity.
It is a representative of Texas’ renewable energy industries throughout the U.S. and the world.
The Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association is an advocate and advisor to government on behalf of the industry on renewable energy related policy. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) trade association under IRS regulations (tax exempt, but contributions are not tax deductible).
